It’s officially my birthday month. And you know what that means… FREE gifts from some of my favorite brands! The best thing I love about my birthday, aside from the fact that it’s the day I was born, is that I can get free and discounted products and meals all month long from a ton of companies. Earlier this year I purchased my first house. Woah. I can’t believe I just fixed my fingers to type that previous sentence. I think it’s safe to say I’m officially adulting. The process was assuredly a roller coaster of a ride, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. They say the best teacher is experience, and I’m grateful for some of the roadblocks I encountered along the way. I entered the process with very little knowledge on what it takes to acquire and maintain a property. While I cannot boast to be a real estate acquisition guru (yet), I can say the knowledge I gained through the process has started me on what I hope will be a fruitful journey in the world of real estate.

2015 is almost over, and there’s no way I was going to let the year end without taking a big trip. In a few weeks, I’ll be on a plane heading to Ghana. There isn’t a word in the English language that can express my excitement right now.
